Emily Bett Rickards, known for her role as Felicity in CW’s Arrow, will soon be seen Off-Broadway in Zayd Dohrn’s dark comedy, Reborning. The production, set to play a limited engagement at SoHo Playhouse, marks ten years since the play was seen at the Public Theater’s Summer Play Festival.
After a critically acclaimed run in Vancouver BC, Reborning by Zayd Dohrn comes to the historic SoHo Playhouse in N.Y.C. this summer for a strictly limited engagement. This dark comedy takes an unsettling look at love, loss, trauma and the power of creation through the lens of the unusual art of reborning. The production stars Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow, Brooklyn), Paul Piaskowski (Unspeakable, The Twilight Zone), and Lori Triolo (Riverdale, The 4400) who also directs.
If you saw our fall performance of “Bug” by Tracy Letts you’re familiar with Lori Triolo as the powerhouse actor who played Agnes. She took the character from good-natured party girl hiding from her past to unhinged enabler ready to literally watch the world go up in flames.
